The latest favourites for your feet have arrived at SZPUTNYIK!
One of the most popular boot brands of our time has just been updated with new pieces in our shop and online.
How did it all start?
The first boot was born on April 1, 1960 in Wollaston, England, called "1460". In the six decades since, Dr. Martens has transcended subcultures, proving its unrivalled appeal and ability to set trends.
The 1460 boot, with its iconic and instantly recognisable design features - yellow stitching, grooved soles and black and yellow heel loops - still forms the basis of all other products and accounts for over 40% of sales. The brand remains as relevant today as ever. Still the choice of those who want to express their individual style and attitude, and who value uncompromising quality and durability.
Their approach to sustainability
At Dr. Martens, we've been making timeless, durable products for six decades and we're committed to doing what's right for people and the planet.
They recognise the environmental challenges of the climate crisis we are all facing and have a responsibility to protect our planet for the next generation. So in 2019 they have set themselves ambitious goals to plan, produce and sell more responsibly. As they continue to grow, they remain focused on better understanding their environmental impacts and taking steps to reduce them. They know that incremental changes in their processes can have a significant impact, and are striving to make positive changes in their supply chains and their own operations wherever they can. They also believe in treating everyone fairly, regardless of their role in the Dr. Martens community. They are committed to making sure that the people who work in their offices, distribution centres and stores, and the people who make their products, feel safe at work. They strive to make a meaningful and positive impact on the communities of which they are a part.

DR MARTENS x KEITH HARING
"ART FOR ALL"
DR MARTENS x KEITH HARING
"ART FOR ALL"
Keith Haring's words still resonate decades later through his work and legacy. Even those unfamiliar with his name are familiar with his work. His art is everywhere, from big city buildings and street murals to art galleries and even the Berlin Wall. And now on the 1460 boots and 1461 Dr Martens shoes.
The work of the artist, who has spent a lifetime fighting for the oppressed and against convention, continues to stir tempers. Dr Martens' first collaboration pays tribute to a man who lived the DM mindset every day.
The original Dr Martens silhouettes are printed with Haring's instantly recognisable illustrations.
