How to wear an oversized knit sweater to stay stylish and even accentuate your figure?
1. It's a good idea to combine these sweaters with slimmer pieces, for example, a pair of fitted trousers or a tight skirt can be a great choice.
2. Tuck them in at the waist. There are a lot of different ways to do this - for example, you can just pin the front, or you can pin the whole thing.
3. Secure with a safety pin or hair tie. This way you can shorten the length elegantly and make sure everything stays in place.
Don't be scared by the straight-up baggy pieces either. They're back in bloom now anyway, so if you'd rather hide under a chunky knitted jumper, you can do that too.
A slim-fit turtleneck and a loose-fitting knit sweater work equally well in a chic ensemble, and not just if you stick to classic white, black and beige tones. Feel free to sneak a pop of colour into your outfit with your sweater too. But the emphasis is not so much on the shade of the sweater as the colour harmony of the overall look. You can also play with subtle and soft fabric combinations for a chic elegance.
And of course you don't have to give up the samples. Vintage pieces are often colourful and have a lot of patterns, but don't be put off by that. With a good combo, they can make your outfit look super fun, just decide if you're drawn to the boho or the clean direction.
