Åke Nordin founded the Fjällräven brand in his cellar in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden in 1960. The company follows a few simple rules: they aim to create timeless, practical outdoor garments, in an environmentally conscious way while bringing urban people closer to nature.
They tend to surprise us with something brand new each season, and this year, they don't disappoint either. We are proud to be among the very few places in Hungary where you can get your hands on the newest dimension of Fjallraven Kanken backpacks, the Kanken Art designs. The prints on these models were designed by contemporary Swedish graphic designers.
Kanken Art - "Fable"
Cecilia Heikkilä has designed these beautiful patterns. The Swedish artist was inspired by Scandinavian nature. She believes these patterns represent the mythical world of nature, that is unpredictable, mesmerizing and scary at the same time. The closer you are to nature, the more you wish to preserve and protect its beauty, says the artist. Therefore she invites you to this mythical world to experience this beauty along with Fjallraven.
The Kanken Art Fable edition is available in two colors. The lovely deep blue and vital green catch the eyes, decorated with cute animal prints.

Kanken Art - Landscape
Erik Olovsson designer has created the second series of Kanken Art. The Landscape collection summons the beauty of landscapes in the sunset.
They are available in two versions. The deeper shades are meant to represent the landscape of summer, and the brighter, vivid design shows you the landscape of spring. Join these monumental adventures!

Kanken Rainbow
The Kanken Rainbow design stands for equality. Fjallraven strongly believes that all people are born equal. It doesn't matter who you are, where you live, what your age is, if a rainbow appears above, we all admire it. Of course, it might only be a natural phenomenon, a mere play of sunshine and water, but still, it's magical! This design was created in the spirit of this magic containing the light within.
