If your New Year's resolution is to be more mindful of yourself, the environment and your ecological footprint, we've got some great tips to help you do just that.

1. I'll stop with fast fashion brands!

We have lots of vintage products to choose from, carefully selected to be as good as new, so feel free to come to us for the most unique pieces. We also stock many products from ethical brands. Read our article on what makes a brand sustainable.

2. I will be a more conscious consumer!

Most of our clothes are sustainably sourced and we also raise awareness among our customers. We also have several brands that are upcycled, which means that by upcycling an old garment or fabric, they become cool and sustainable at the same time. Or they are raising awareness about eco-conscious everyday life, such as not using plastic bags, plastic cutlery and eating lots of local food.

3. I do not use unnecessary packaging materials!

Szputnyik offers you lots of packaging-free ideas so you don't have to use plastic and disposable packaging. For example, vintage scarves, canvas bags (from designer to second-hand for a few hundred forints), socks and even hats.

4. I prefer domestic brands!

We have several Hungarian brands in our shop, who produce their products in a traceable, ethical way, so you can make sure you're getting the best product first hand.
